Krav Maga and resilience training for children at Double Defense in Hilversum
I was bullied a lot, but not anymore. I have learned how to stand up for myself and that I am allowed to do that.

Krav Maga and resilience in one training

Children aged 7 to 10 need a learning method that suits their physical, social, and emotional development. That is why we combine Kids Krav Maga techniques with our resilience programme in this training.

It is not about fighting or being better than someone else. Your child learns what they can do when something becomes tense, how to stand up for themselves, and how to interact with others more confidently.

What does your child learn?

During the lessons, children build physical, mental, emotional, and verbal skills at the same time. Everything is adapted to what children of this age can understand and practise.

Kids Krav Maga

Children practise simple, age-appropriate self-defence techniques for situations they may encounter at this age.

Boundaries and self-confidence

They learn to recognise what is and is not okay, say no more clearly, and experience that they are allowed to stand up for themselves.

Dealing with emotions and tension

Children learn to better recognise what they feel and what helps when they are angry, scared, sad, or insecure.

Dealing with others

They practise how to respond to teasing, bullying, or behaviour that crosses a boundary, and when it is wise to ask for help.

What does a lesson look like?

Each lesson has a clear structure. Through movement, games, exercises, and short conversations, children learn skills in a way that suits their age.

Practising at their own level

Not every child practises in the same way or at the same pace. We adapt exercises where needed, so every child can take part and grow.

Recognisable situations

We practise situations that can occur at school, during play, in sports, and in contact with other children.

Practising together

Children practise with one another, listen to instructions, and learn to take another person’s boundaries into account.

Repeating and reflecting

Core skills return regularly. We pause each time to consider what went well and what a child can do better next time.

Schedule a free intro lesson

Would you like to experience whether this training suits your child? Schedule an intro lesson. You will get to know the group, the instructors, and the way we practise.

After the first lesson, we discuss how your child experienced it and whether the training is suitable. After the second intro lesson, you can enrol your child in the weekly training.
